Shipping Insurance - InternationalUpdated 4 months ago

Effective 9/20/19 at 3:00 PM EST, all orders placed with www.ripstopbytheroll.com and shipped via our carrier partners (USPS and FedEx) are sent via FOB Durham, NC USA terms. 

IMPORTANT: This means that RBTR is NOT responsible for ANY lost, stolen, or damaged packages. 

In order to protect your shipment from these events, we offer low-cost shipping protection for every order directly on the cart page.

The cost of adding shipping protection is automatically calculated as $0.98 or approximately 1% of your order total, whichever is greater. 

By adding shipping protection to your order, you can be confident in knowing that should something happen during transit, your order will be 100% covered (including shipping costs). The only things NOT covered by shipping protection are shown explicitly below:

  • Customs delays, package seizure, or failure to pay customs duties that are due
  • Incorrect or undeliverable address
  • Shipments being returned for exchange or refund.
  • Forwarding services - If using a third party forwarding service, insurance coverage ends once the item is delivered to the forwarding service. 

Please note - If there has been no movement for 30 days (for USPS) or 15 days (for FedEx) please reach out to us. We'll start a trace with the USPS or FedEx, and replace the order if the carrier is unable to find it.

In many cases, an order may be marked as "Delivered" if there are import taxes or duties due. In most cases, a form is dropped off by the local postal system informing the customer of the fees due, and how to pay.  

Additionally, any claims of lost/stolen/damaged orders must be submitted to Ripstop by the Roll within 21 days of the package being listed as delivered on the tracking page. 

Please note: Insurance claims are tracked. Filing too many claims may result in your claim being denied, at the discretion of RBTR management.
